On May 22, 2018, SUGARMAN attorneys and staff laced up their running shoes for the fourth time to participate in the 11th Annual Lawyers Have Heart 5k Road Race to benefit the American Heart Association. More than 2,000 runners, walkers and supporters from over 120 law firms, associations and companies helped raise funds and awareness for heart disease and stroke research.
On race day, team SUGARMAN was ranked 16th out of over 120 fundraising teams. More than $230,000 has been raised from all teams and individual race participants to benefit the American Heart Association. Eleven SUGARMAN team members completed the 3.1 miles that began and ended at the Flynn Cruiseport Terminal at 1 Black Flacon Avenue in the Seaport District of Boston.
