Since its launch in 2004 when Thomson Reuters began recognizing lawyers for professional achievement as well as peer recognition, SUGARMAN attorneys have been selected year after year as honorees, both as Super Lawyers and Rising Stars. Once again in 2023, each of SUGARMAN’s Principals have been selected as Massachusetts Super Lawyers, and Associate, William Walsh, has been named as a Rising Star for a fourth consecutive year.
Neil Sugarman has had the distinction of being named to the Top 10 Massachusetts attorney list – an honor that he has received every year since Super Lawyers’ inception. Marianne LeBlanc has been named repeatedly to both Top 100 Massachusetts Lawyers and Top 50 Women Lawyers and Benjamin Zimmermann has been selected to the Top 100 Lawyers in Massachusetts every year since 2013. Principal David McCormack has received a Super Lawyers honor every year since 2008, and Principal Stacey Pietrowicz has been named each year since 2011. Attorney Paul Sugarman, Of Counsel, joins Neil as having been selected every year since 2004.
SUGARMAN is extremely proud of its attorneys’ commitment to the practice of personal injury law and their countless successes on behalf of their clients as well as their contributions to the legal industry.
Each year, the research team at Super Lawyers selects to its list no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state and no more than 2.5 receive the honor of being a Rising Star. Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than seventy practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
