The Boston Bar Association recently hosted Massachusetts Women at the Bar –  A Candid Roundtable Discussion Among Generations, bringing together 12 women attorneys from across the Boston area to share their perspectives on the profession’s past, present, and future.

Sarah YunSUGARMAN Associate Sarah Yun was honored to join the discussion as one of the newer voices in the legal community. She spoke about the assumptions often made about women in the profession and offered insight into the ongoing challenge of balancing professional demands with personal life.

Sarah’s legal career reflects her dedication to advocacy and excellence. A 2022 graduate of Boston University School of Law, she began her practice as an associate at a large international law firm, where she handled complex litigation matters ranging from intellectual property and commercial disputes to pro bono civil rights cases. She later clerked for the Honorable Myong Joun of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts before joining SUGARMAN as an associate in 2025.

In addition to her practice, Sarah is deeply committed to advancing diversity and representation in the legal field. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts.
