Fire Accidents
Sugarman represents those injured and the families of those killed by fire. Our attorneys have prosecuted cases against electric, gas, and other utilities as well as the manufacturers, distributors, and users of flammable materials, electrical equipment and fire protection devices, and landlords and commercial landowners.
Examples of the types of fire accident cases in which the firm has represented victims include an apartment fire caused by an electrical heater, a fire started by a hand held lighter, smoke-detector failures, office building fires, and a house fire caused by escape of natural gas. The firm has also prosecuted claims for injuries and death resulting from vehicle fires, against both vehicle manufacturers and repairers.
