Explosion Accidents
Sugarman has extensive experience representing those injured and the families of those killed in catastrophic explosions. Defendants include electric, gas, and other utilities as well as the manufacturers, distributors, and users of explosive or highly flammable materials or electrical equipment.
Examples of the types of explosion accident cases in which our attorneys have represented victims include firefighters injured in a chemical plant explosion, an explosion in a butane-filling factory and a factory explosion caused by a build up of powdered resin. These cases typically involved multiple deaths and/or major injuries to those involved. Sugarman has routinely served as lead counsel, working in cooperation with other attorneys and firms representing other claimants. The firm's long history as a Boston law firm, expertise, and technical knowledge enable it to devote the resources necessary to vigorously represent those injured and the families of those killed in catastrophic explosion accidents.
