Lawyers Weekly Interviews Sugarman Attorney on Firm's Name Change

Boston- Jodi Petrucelli, principal at Sugarman, recently discussed the firm's new name with reporter Barbara Rabinovitz from Lawyers Weekly. The article, entitled "What's in a name?", was published in the April 30, 2007 edition.
"The legal name is still Sugarman & Sugarman; we have just made the decision to use the name Sugarman to more reflect what it is we are known by in the community," said Petrucelli, who led the name-change effort as a member of the firm's communication subcommittee. Petrucelli notes that the firm wanted "to update our look and to represent ourselves as the cutting-edge type of firm we think we are."
Court documents will continue to use the firm's legal name of Sugarman & Sugarman, with the new name of Sugarman being used in all marketing and communication venues.
