Nine Sugarman Lawyers Named as Top Attorneys in Massachusetts and New England: Selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers & Rising Stars 2009
November 16, 2009
Boston, MA —Nine attorneys from Sugarman and Sugarman P.C., a leading personal injury law firm based in Boston, have been selected for inclusion in both New England Super Lawyers 2009 and Massachusetts Super Lawyers 2009 in Boston Magazine. After an area-wide nomination and screening process, the two publications name just five percent of the lawyers practicing in New England and Massachusetts with an eye towards identifying attorneys with high standing among their peers.
Massachusetts Super Lawyers 2009 recognized seven principals at Sugarman as among the best-known and most highly respected lawyers in the area. Neil Sugarman was once again named as one of the top 10 attorneys in Massachusetts, and both Marianne LeBlanc and Jodi Petrucelli were among the Commonwealth’s top 50 women lawyers. The list of Massachusetts’ 2009 Rising Stars once again included Stephen K. Sugarman, Benjamin R. Zimmermann, and David P. McCormack.
Like its Massachusetts counterpart, the list of New England Super Lawyers 2009 includes Sugarman principals, Paul R. Sugarman, Neil Sugarman, W. Thomas Smith, Robert W. Casby, Jodi M. Petrucelli, and Marianne C. LeBlanc. Neil Sugarman and Robert Casby were named among the top 100 lawyers in New England, while Jodi Petrucelli and Marianne LeBlanc received recognition as being among the top 50 women lawyers in New England. Principals Stephen K. Sugarman, Benjamin R. Zimmermann, along with senior associate, David P. McCormack were all included in the ranks of 2009 Rising Stars in New England for Personal Injury Plaintiff: General.
The attorneys at Sugarman have consistently been included in Super Lawyers since its first listing.
