Kelsey Montgomery earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Holyoke College, and her JD from Boston University School of Law in 2011. As part of BU Law School’s Criminal Clinic, Kelsey represented defendants in Boston Juvenile Court and Boston Municipal Court on a range of criminal offenses. Her work with the clinic and her efforts providing pro-bono legal assistance to volunteer organizations in the Boston area, earned her BU’s Pro Bono Certificate upon graduation. Kelsey will practice in all areas of the firm’s diverse plaintiff personal injury practice.
Steven Zane graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 2008, and graduated with honors from Boston College Law School in 2011. Steven served as the Managing Editor of the Boston College International and Comparative Law Review, and was published twice; his editorial work with the publication earned him a special commencement award. In his third year of law school, Steven worked with the Bristol County DA’s office to author an appellate brief for the Commonwealth, and appeared before the Massachusetts Court of Appeals to argue on behalf of the Commonwealth. Prior to joining Sugarman, Steven worked as a law clerk in the insurance industry. As an associate at Sugarman, Steven will focus on all areas of the firm’s diverse plaintiff personal injury practice.
