Robert W. Casby Presents at American Bar Association Teleconference Program – Medical Malpractice 101

Boston – Robert W. Casby, a principal at SUGARMAN, was a panelist on “Medical Malpractice 101” for the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division during the Health Law Committee’s first teleconference program of 2010-2011.

During the program, which took place on November 2, 2010, Mr. Casby was one of three skilled and experienced attorneys presenting on the ABA panel, which focused on the legal issues surrounding a medical malpractice claim. Mr. Casby discussed and answered questions about medical malpractice law from the plaintiff’s perspective. The panel covered the many aspects of a medical malpractice lawsuit, including assessing a medical malpractice case, communicating with physicians, retaining experts, and what to expect and how to handle discovery, mediation, trial and settlement.
