Boston - Jodi M. Petrucelli, principal at Sugarman, presented at the recent MCLE seminar/webcast entitled “Preparing & Trying Chapter 93A & 176D Cases.”
The seminar was held on March 5th in Boston. Ms. Petrucelli, along with a panel of four other experts, outlined the steps necessary to bring a successful 93A claim against an insurance carrier. The program covered procedure and practice strategies regarding the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act and the causes of action available under Chapter 93A, including standards, defenses and remedies available under Chapter 93A and recent developments in the law. Ms. Petrucelli focused on strategies and tips for the prospective plaintiff prior to filing suit involving M.G.L. c. 93A and 176D.
